Kia Cuts Off Charger, Passenger Injured Near Downtown

Today at 11:42 a.m., police responded to a wreck between a blue Kia SUV and a red Dodge car near downtown San Angelo.

"The Kia was traveling northbound on S. Koenigheim St, in the second lane to the left. The Kia then attempted to make a left turn onto Ave. B and drove into the path of the red Dodge that was traveling in the far left lane, also headed north," said an official at the scene.

Due to the unsafe lane change, the Kia was given a citation. A passenger in the red dodge was sent to San Angelo Community Medical Center with minor injuries.
