At around 9:45 a.m. this morning, two cars collided and were smashed to pieces at the intersection of Bryant and Ave. L.

According to Officer Gesch with the San Angelo Police Department, the silver Honda Odyssey was traveling northbound on Bryant while the Silver Lincoln Town Car traveled southbound on Bryant. The Lincoln attempted a left turn in front of the Honda, causing the collision.

Lanes heading north on Bryant were redirected to go down Ave. L while the mess was cleaned up. The lanes should be reopened soon.
The driver of the Lincoln was transported to Community Hospital. No visible injuries were seen.
No citations were given at this time, for further investigation is needed, police said.
