Two drivers went to an area hospital today after a two-vehicle accident on State Highway 208 and South Red Creek Road, said Department of Public Safety Trooper Dykstra.

Dykstra said, at approximately 1:50 p.m., the driver of a Chevy Suburban was attempting to make a U-turn near a curve by the South Red Creek Bridge and crashed into the driver of a FedEx van, causing the vehicle to rollover on its side. The driver was transported by ambulance to an unknown hospital with minor injuries, said Dykstra. The driver of the Suburban was also transported to an area hospital by personal vehicle for minor injuries.

Dykstra said the driver of the Suburban will receive a citation for attempting to make an illegal U-turn.
