At approximately 9:30 a.m. Monday morning, the driver of a Ford Focus knocked out some utility boxes and hit a utility pole after a driver of a black Dodge Ram pickup struck her on University Ave near Glenn Middle School, said Hit-and-Run Investigator Steven Quade with the San Angelo Police Department.

Quade said the female driver of the Ford Focus was traveling westbound on University when the Dodge pickup pulled out of the Glenn Junior High parking lot and struck her on the driver’s door. At that point, the woman spun around and took out the utility boxes and hit a utility pole.

Originally, the call came in as an entrapment, but Quade said that wasn’t the case. The woman’s door was jammed.
