Car Slams into San Angelo Christmas Light Tour Sign

According to the San Angelo police, the driver of the silver station wagon was southbound on Abe St. this morning and failed to control speed.

The station wagon hit a car waiting to turn off of First Street, then a pole, before slamming into the large sign marking the entrance of the annual San Angelo Christmas Light Tour.

The other car left the scene of the crash on its own power and there were no injuries. The driver of the silver station wagon was cited for failure to control speed.
