A drug trafficker, attempting to flood the San Angelo streets with the devil's lettuce, was stopped by DPS last week just before he could make it town.

SAN ANGELO, TX — Those leading the quest to have the City of San Angelo designate itself as a sanctuary city for the unborn were energized last Thursday as leaders of the effort filed paperwork with the City of San Angelo secretary to begin a petition drive that eventually will place the designation on a citywide ballot.
DPS Troopers will be looking for people not wearing seat belts, driving while intoxicated, speeding and failing to follow the Move Over, Slow Down law, among other traffic violations.
