The Abilene Zoo has a new resident — at least for a little while. Vicki, a 12-year-old sloth bear from the Smithsonian National Zoo, has arrived in West Texas as a temporary guest ahead of Abilene Zoo’s upcoming expansion project scheduled to break ground next spring.
SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Texas Flood Benefit Concert and Auction, held on Friday, July 11, at the Arc Light Bar inside the Clarion Hotel at 441 Rio Concho Dr., raised over $175,000 for the San Angelo Area Foundation’s local flood relief fund.
Tickets are now available for Texas Tech's annual Red Raider Club Kickoff Luncheon. Head football coach Joey McGuire will headline the luncheon on August 21 at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.
