The Abilene Zoo has a new resident — at least for a little while. Vicki, a 12-year-old sloth bear from the Smithsonian National Zoo, has arrived in West Texas as a temporary guest ahead of Abilene Zoo’s upcoming expansion project scheduled to break ground next spring.
SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Texas Flood Benefit Concert and Auction, held on Friday, July 11, at the Arc Light Bar inside the Clarion Hotel at 441 Rio Concho Dr., raised over $175,000 for the San Angelo Area Foundation’s local flood relief fund.
