Parole Officer Charged With Human Trafficking in Tom Green County

 

ABILENE, TX — An Abilene parole officer was arrested Wednesday, March 19, for human trafficking after she allegedly forced two victims into prostitution in Tom Green County.

One of the victims was reportedly under the age of 18.

Symone Danielle Miller is facing two human trafficking charges from allegations she assaulted one victim and threatened to assault another during an incident in Tom Green County in March 2021.

One of the victims also claimed she was intoxicated without her consent by Miller.

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice has confirmed Miller is an active parole officer who has been suspended due to these charges.

Miller has been released from Taylor County Jail after she posted bonds totaling $250,000.
