SOCCER PLAYOFFS: Maidens Torch Borger, Chiefs Edge Out Borger for Bi-District Title

LUBBOCK, TX -- The Lake View Maidens claimed the bi-district playoff championship with a win over Borger on Thursday.

The Maidens beat Borger 4-1 for the win.

The Maidens will next face Clint Mountain View in the area round of playoffs.

The Chiefs followed up the Maidens win with a shootout win over Borger

Lake View advanced after finishing the 80 minutes level at 2-2. The Chiefs then won 5-4 in the penalty shootout.

The Chiefs will also face Clint Mountain View in the area round of playoffs.
