Wall's Hartman Selected for Texas Roundup All-Star Game

WALL, TX-- The Wall Hawk's basketball season ended just over a week ago, but, for senior point guard Sterlyn Hartman, there will be one more opportunity to showcase his talent on the hardwood.

Hartman was selected to the 18th annual Texas Roundup All-Star Basketball game in Maypearl, just west of Waxahachie.

The Texas Roundup selects the top 24 players from class 4A on down to participate in the event and is considered one of the most prestigious events for basketball in Texas.

College recruiters serve as advisers during the selection process for the Texas Roundup and will likely have their eyes locked on the Hawk's court general.

During the 2017-18 season, Hartman was selected as the District 4-3A Offensive MVP following a season in which he averaged nearly 14 points per game. In the Hawk's Bi-District Playoff win over Kermit on Feb. 20, Hartman drained six shots from behind the arc en-route to a 22 point night.

The Hawks went 30-4 this season with an appearance in the Region 1-3A Quarterfinals.
