The Concho Valley Archaeology Society will host its annual Archaeology Fair, "Yesterday's Revisited," at Barracks 6, Fort Concho, on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Shannon held its annual meeting Tuesday regarding its Certificate of Public Advantage that allows it to operate as a monopoly health care provider in San Angelo. A couple members of the public took the opportunity to criticize Shannon for a drop in quality since the merger with Community four years ago.

Drivers can expect lane closures on State Highway Loop 378 (SL 378) near the intersection of Chadbourne Street and Fairview School Road starting Monday, Sept. 16, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
