San Angelo’s Municipal Pool Set to Open Next Week

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — With students preparing for the final day of school this week, San Angelo’s Municipal Pool is set to open for the summer next week.

The pool, located at 18 East Ave. A,  is scheduled to open Tuesday, May 26. Its hours are noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday until Aug. 2, when it will go to weekends only for Aug. 8-9 and 15-16.

The cost is $5 per person ages 3-64, $3 per person ages 65 and older, and free for children 2 and under.

Season passes are available for $100 for individuals and $250 for a family of four.

The splash pad at Unidad Park, 3245 Vista Del Arroyo Drive, is already open for the summer. There is no cost, and it’s open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The splash pad at Kirby Park, 1401 Edmund Blvd., is still undergoing repairs but is expected to open soon.

Another place to beat the heat that is already open is Brown’s Pool at 5301 Fruitland Farm Road. The pool has been open each weekend this month from 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Beginning Monday, May 25, the pool will be open seven days a week for the remainder of the summer.

Admission to Brown’s Pool is $6 per person ages 4 and older. It’s free for children 3 and under with a paying adult.
