Bianca Aguilar is a student at Holliman Elementary. Recently, she underwent treatment at a children’s hospital in Lubbock. On Nov. 1, the San Angelo Elks Lodge #1880 held a benefit brisket sale to help Bianca’s family with medical expenses.

This week, the local Elks presented a $2,300 check to Aguilar and her family. Also attending the presentation were officials from the Texas Elks State Association.

According to Harry Thomas, all of the proceeds were raised at the Nov. 1 benefit brisket lunch.
