Concho River Restocked With Channel Catfish

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Inland Fisheries San Angelo District announced that Channel Catfish stockings on the Concho River in downtown San Angelo have resumed today.

More than 600 catfish were restocked, encouraging locals to get outside, enjoy the cooler weather, and try their hand at fishing.

The restocking initiative began on April 12, with biweekly restockings continuing through the fall, excluding August. The final stocking for 2024 will take place on November 1.
