Coronavirus: 43 New Cases and 1 Death Confirmed Sunday

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The City of San Angelo confirmed an additional 43 cases of coronavirus on Sunday. The new cases were confirmed using 27 PCR tests and 16 antigen tests.

This brings the seven day total to 468 cases. This is 54 fewer cases than the previous week that 522 new cases.

According to the information provided by the city, 31 of the 43 patients are residents of Tom Green County. The additional patients belong to residents of Sutton, Tarrant, Irion, Runnels, and  Crocket counties.

This week has also experienced an uptick in deaths, with eight additional deaths confirmed in the last seven days. This brings the total number of death to 19. The latest death was confirmed Sunday afternoon.

It is bad when we have so many positive cases, were pushing about 300 per week at the rate of 40 plus per day. As long as people think they are invincible the number of cases if going to grow. After people get infected and die there is no use in taking precautions.
