Body Found Near Llano River Identified After Days-Long Search

 

LLANO, TX — The body of a man discovered near the Llano River on Wednesday has been identified as Bradley “Ty” Tribble, 31, who was reported missing on March 29.

According to the Llano County Sheriff’s Office, a volunteer with Texas Equusearch located human remains around 10:20 a.m. April 2 during a second search of the river area just outside the town. Tribble had last been seen on March 28 after leaving his family’s home in Llano. He was reported missing the following day by relatives who had not seen or heard from him.

Multiple law enforcement agencies and volunteers searched the surrounding area in the days following his disappearance. Search efforts included the Llano Police Department, Llano County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Parks and Wildlife, Texas Highway Patrol, and the Llano Volunteer Fire Department. The initial search included ground crews, drones, and a Texas Parks and Wildlife Department helicopter, but yielded no results.

Investigators with the Llano County Sheriff’s Office and Llano Police Department responded to the scene on Wednesday after the discovery. Justice of the Peace Lisa Simpson ordered an autopsy to be performed by the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office. Tribble was identified at the scene, and his family was notified.

Authorities stated there is no threat to public safety at this time. The sheriff’s office is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.

No additional updates will be released unless issued by the Llano County Sheriff’s Office.
