Barricaded Subject Arrested After Police Standoff

 

SAN ANGELO, TX— San Angelo Police were in a standoff with a barricaded subject at Woodlawn Drive and Webster Street.

Around 6:05 p.m., the San Angelo Police Department issued a Nixle alert informing San Angelo residents to avoid the area of Webster Street and Woodlawn Drive due to police activity.

In a press conference, San Angelo Police Chief Travis Griffith said that a subject was involved in a stabbing incident and barricaded himself inside a residence. The subject involved has been arrested and more information regarding this situation will be provided when it becomes available.
