TGCSO & DPS Bust Alleged Devil's Lettuce and Drug Dealer

 

SAN ANGELO, TX— The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office and the DPS arrested an alleged drug dealer in San Angelo. 

According to information released by the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office, on Thursday, June 20, 2024, investigators with the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office and Special Agents with the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division conducted a joint operation combating the distribution of narcotics within the City of San Angelo and the Tom Green County area.

During the operation, investigators and Special Agents arrested Freddrick Lewis, 46, after locating 1.5 pounds of marijuana, nearly two ounces of suspected methamphetamine, and a large amount of US currency.

Lewis was charged and booked into the Tom Green County Detention Facility for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG1 >=4G<200G (F1) and Possession of Marijuana >4OZ<=5LBS.

Investigators were assisted by Deputies with the Patrol Division and Texas Department of Public Safety-Highway Patrol Division.

Law enforcement involved would also like to thank the public for the support and information that contributes to the success of the Sheriff's Office's ongoing efforts to combat drugs and crime within San Angelo and the Tom Green County area.
