SAN ANGELO, TX – Two child predators are on the run in Tom Green County and the Sheriff's Office needs your help to catch them.
According to the TGCSO, as of Dec. 7, 2021, Kyle Doty, 27, of Carlsbad, and Jarrod Williams, of Carlsbad, are both wanted for failure to register as a sex offender.
Williams was last in the Tom Green County Jail for a warrant out of Yamill County, Oregon in 2018. Following his arrest he was released to another agency. Williams is a convicted sex offender that has a last known address of P.O. Box 133 at Mason St. Apartment 6 in Carlsbad. His last known employee was Walmart.
As for Doty, he has been on the run since he first got into it with police. As previously reported, in March 2022, Doty pleaded guilty to online solicitation of a minor. Prior to his arrest though Doty made multiple appearances on the San Angelo Police Department's wanted list.
The first time came the day of his initial arrest. A teenage victim told her father, who then went to the police, that Doty had been inappropriately Snapchatting her. After police spoke with Doty and confiscated evidence a warrant was issued for his arrest. But before police could arrest him Doty went on the run. He eventually turned himself in. Following a week long search, Doty once again turned himself in. Once again he was processed, booked, and released in the same day. See: Fugitive Child Predator Captured and Released
In Doty's plea, he agreed to serve an eight year probation. In that probation included the typical punishments including having to register as a sex offender during that probation period. Because Doty has failed to do that a motion to revoke warrant has been issued for his arrest. Doty is a known resident of Carlsbad. According to a sex offender registry website Doty's last known address is 11310 Main st.
