SAPD Searching For Child Predator Again

SAN ANGELO, TX — San Angelo Police are once again searching for 24-year-old Kyle Doty for online solicitation of a minor.

In November of last year, SAPD was searching for Doty after a warrant was issued. Doty would eventually turn himself into police, but before he did the police department urged other possible victims to come forward.

In March of this year, Doty was formally indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury. According to the indictment Doty sent explicit messages on Snapchat to a 16-year-old girl.

Even after the teen told Doty he was underage he continued to send her explicit messages, including a video of him sexually touching himself.

The teen’s father would then report the messages to local authorities.

Doty is no stranger to run-ins with authorities and has been arrested at least seven times in the last seven years.

Anyone with information that can lead to Doty’s arrest is asked to contact SAPD through social media or by submitting anonymous tips by visiting http://bit.ly/SAPDTips247 or by texting TIP SAPD to 888777 and following the prompts.

Why does the courts keep letting these lowlifes out on bail. He already ran once so why let him go again. This is part of the reason why our children keep getting hurt by these punks. Arrest, sentence, and throw them in jail.
