LUBBOCK – The office of U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas has announced that 12 alleged drug traffickers have been arrested.
Operations in Brownfield, Lamesa, and Lubbock led to the seizure of about 27 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, U.S. currency, and two firearms.
Jamey Jimenez, Celia Zurita, Alfred Miranda, Rorigo Gonzales-Gonzales, Patricia Renee Guerrero, Christina Fuentes, Jessica Moreno, Amanda Uresti Salgado, and Lauren Mackenzie Helbert have all been charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and distribution and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
Christopher Matthew Vasquez has been charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.
The two individuals charged by criminal complaint have not had their charged listed.
Eduardo A. Chaves, Special Agent in Charge of the DEA Dallas Field Division said, “Methamphetamine trafficking penetrates every aspect of our society and threatens the safety of our neighborhoods. DEA Lubbock and our law enforcement partners are committed to identifying and destroying the networks and criminal organizations who distribute the poison throughout La Mesa and Terry counties, and the overall greater Lubbock area.”
