EDINBURG, TX – Rio Grande Valley Sector (RGV) Border Patrol Agents and local authorities disrupted three human smuggling attempts recently.
Wednesday morning, RGV agents received information of a hotel in Alamo, TX, being used to harbor illegal aliens. Border Patrol, in coordination with the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office, responded to the location and encountered 17 migrants illegally present in the United States within four rooms in the hotel. The illegals were taken into Border Patrol custody for processing.
Early Thursday morning, Penitas Police Department requested assistance from McAllen Border Patrol Station agents when a Ford Expedition failed to yield. The vehicle eventually pulled over near Tom Gil Road and the driver fled on foot into the nearby neighborhood. Border Patrol agents arrived at the location and discovered nine subjects, including a 13 year old child, inside the vehicle.
Agents on scene were able to determine that the nine subjects were illegally present in the United States and from the countries of Mexico, Guatemala, and El Salvador. The illegal aliens were transported to a Border Patrol facility and processed accordingly. The driver was not located.
Additionally, Border Patrol agents discovered 30 illegal aliens being harbored in a Rio Grande City, Texas, residence suspected of operating as a human smuggling stash house.

Yantis - the daily reports on the border are getting old. Where were you prior to the Covid outbreak when there were high numbers of immigrants being caught on a daily basis and numerous drug seizures at the border crossings and the southern border itself. The look over here misdirection efforts by the party has run it's course. Those with the ability to think for themselves and not follow the Pied Piper have been on to it for over two years now. That's the reason 81 million people in this country voted for Joe Biden. And if our party continues to follow the Orange one the democrats will get even more votes in 2024.

I do not understand how or why you and those like you won't open your eyes and take your fingers out of your ears so that a little truth might seep into your brain. You seem to think if you repeat a lie enough times then it will become truth. It did start under the last couple of months of Trump but, it was because of biden and his promises of amnesty, stopping border wall construction, and allowing all immigrants to come into the US instead of waiting in Mexico, increasing visas, and other things. Go ahead deny that! Covid caused it, my ass. Try some damn truth.
