SAN ANGELO, TX – The suspect in Thursday morning's chase has been arrested following a 2-hour manhunt.

The suspect was identified as Nicholas Adam Medina, 37.    Medina was found to have an outstanding parole violation (blue warrant) and a warrant for evading arrest and detention.   Medina remains in the custody of the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office with additional charges pending.  No one was injured during this police action.  The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the San Angelo Police Department.

As previously reported, on May 20 at around 11 a.m., deputies with the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office and officers with the San Angelo Police Department were involved in a chase near Goodfellow AFB. For more see: BREAKING: Heavy Police Activity Following High Speed Chase in East San Angelo

At the conclusion of the chase the dually flat bed truck crashed into a house on the 700 block of State Ct. Neighbors on scene told reporters that that driver then jumped out of the truck, into his back yard, and then out into the alley.

The neighbor said that suspect was welcomed by his 110 pound rottweiler which made him exit the yard in a hurry. During his escape the man said that the suspect cut his hands multiple times on the tin fencing.

The spot where the truck hit the house is allegedly the room for small children that live in the home. Luckily the structure of the home kept anyone from being injured.

A large amount of law enforcement were called into the scene and after a 2 hour manhunt the suspect was captured on the 100 block of Arlington st. San Angelo EMS were also called to the scene for the suspect.

Neighbors on scene accused the man of driving a stolen truck and claimed that "there was a lot of paraphernalia in there."
