Jury Seated in San Angelo Child Assault Trial

SAN ANGELO, TX – The jury for the Mack Porter Jr. aggravated sexual assault of a trial was selected Monday after an all day selection process.

According to court reports, on May 17, the sexual assault trial against Mack Porter Jr. began selecting jurors in the Stephens Central Library.

After hours of conversations 12 jurors and 2 alternates were selected to serve on the jury.

They will decide the fate of Porter who is accused of sexually assaulted an 11-year-old in May of 2019.

The trial began on May 18 at around 9 a.m.
