Illegal Alien Invaders Rush Border During Thunderstorm

HIDALGO, TX – Weslaco Border Patrol Station (WSL) agents encountered a large group of 119 migrants during inclement weather Wednesday.

Early Wednesday morning, WSL agents encountered a large group of 119 illegal aliens in Hidalgo.  The group consisted of 93 family members and 26 unaccompanied children.  The illegals were from the countries of Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Ecuador.

Due to the heavy rain and thunderstorms passing through the Rio Grande Valley, agents and contractors immediately transported the illegals to shelter at the Port of Entry (POE) in Hidalgo, Texas.

The intake procedures usually conducted at the place of encounter, were done at the POE in order to keep the illegals, which included very young children, out of the severe weather.  They were then transported to a Border Patrol facility for processing.

All subjects are being processed accordingly.
