Uvalde County Sheriff's Deputies Find Two Stolen Trucks

 

UVALDE, TX – The Uvalde County Sheriff's Office reported on Sunday that a stolen truck from the Abilene area was found abandoned near the Mexico border.

According to the UCSO, on Jan. 23, At approx. 12.00a.m., UCSO Deputies responded to the 8000 blk. of State Hwy. 55 North to assist U.S. Border Patrol Agents in reference to an abandoned truck located in a ranch.

UCSO Deputies confirmed the truck was stolen from Tuscola, TX near Abilene. Upon further investigation, it was revealed the original color of the vehicle was silver but painted white to disguise it.

The sheriff's office called the investigation a Human Smuggling Case.

The day prior the UCSO seized another utility truck but this one was stolen out of San Antonio. During this incident one illegal alien was arrested.
