23-Year-old Indicted For Soliciting A Minor

 

ABILENE, TX — A 23-year-old Midland man has been indicted after he was caught in an online sex sting by the Abilene Police Department.

According to court documents, the suspect, identified as Elijah Ojeda, met the undercover officer on the app Hot or Not.

When the conversation moved to Snapchat, Ojeda told the “teen” he was looking for casual sex. The undercover agent then told Ojeda “she’ was 16 and Ojeda said that didn’t bother him.

In addition to his attempts to solicit the teen he also sent her multiple pictures of his genitals.

The next day Ojeda asked the teen for her address as he was on his way from Midland and wanted to meet up for sex. The undercover agent provided the suspect with an address and Ojeda was arrested when he showed up.

According to Abilene PD, 30 men were arrested during the sting.
