ABILENE, TX – Officials with the Abilene Police Department have identified the man who was found dead at Lake Fort Phantom early Tuesday morning.
The man has been identified as 66-year-old Larry Williams of Abilene, Tx.
Williams' body was found just after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday morning along the bank on the east side of the lake.
As previosuly reported, Witnesses state they saw Williams park at the end of Silo View Road before going down to the lake for some fishing Monday night.
Neighbors noticed William's truck was still parked in the same spot Tuesday morning before contacting local authorities.
At this time Williams' body has been sent to Tarrant County for an autopsy.
The cause of his death has not been released at this time.
