ABILENE, TX – A man's body was found Tuesday morning just after 9:30 a.m. at Lake Fort Phantom in Abilene.
Reports indicate the body was found floating in the water by a neighbor off of Silo View Road which is located on the the east side of the lake.
Neighbors state they witnessed a truck park at the end of the road Monday evening before the man was last seen walking to the lake to fish.
The next morning the truck was still parked in the same place, however APD has not confirmed at this time if the victim was the owner of the truck or not.
The Abilene Police Departments Criminal Investigation Division was on scene, and is actively investigating this incident.
