Two Honduran Nationals Charged with Capital Murder in Stabbing of Employer in Ozona

 

OZONA, TX – Two Honduran Nationals who were working in Ozona have been arrested last week in connection to the death of their employer. 

According to the Palm Beach Post, on May 6, deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and the Texas Rangers arrested Jeferson Alberto Reyes Ortiz, 24, of Honduras for the murder of his employer  36-year-old Romeo E. Perez.

Franklin Danuari Calix-Reyes, 24 was also arrested with involvement in the murder. 

The Crockett County Sheriff's Office did not provide any details of the case beside that Perez was fatally stabbed. 

Reyes and Ortiz both worked for Perez doing home renovation. 

Ortiz has waived his extradition and will be brought back to Texas. 

The two are charged with capital murder which if found guilty could result in the death penalty.
