SAPD Seeks Public Help In Locating Wanted Fugitive

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Police Department is actively searching for Austin B. Yount the second “Walmart Imposter” burglary suspect.

On April 23, 2020, the San Angelo Police Department published a “Need to Identity” Video of two men who had burglarized a local Walmart while posing as Walmart employees. 

The following day on April 24, the Department published an update on the case after both men were arrested in Kimble County on unrelated charges. The men were later identified as 30-year-old John Taylor Fest and 30-year-old Austin Bradley Yount. 

Through follow-up investigation, a detective with the San Angelo Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division obtained warrants for the arrest of the two on the charge of Burglary of Building,which is a State Jail Felony in Texas. 

Last night, John Fest was apprehended by Texas DPS troopers and additionally charged with the Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.
