SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angelo Police captured a suspect Tuesday afternoon who was involved in a vehicle chase which included a series of crashes.
According to SAPD Public Information Officer Tracy Piatt-Fox a patrol officer spotted a stolen vehicle in the La Azteca parking lot on MLK.
The suspect in the stolen vehicle fled and officers pursued him down MLK. The suspect crashed at least three times.

Piatt-Fox says the suspect fled the last crash scene at the corner of 18th and MLK on foot.
The suspect was described a white male wearing black shorts. He ran down 19th St. and crossed N. Bryant Blvd. with police pursuing him on foot. The suspect was apprehended near the intersection of 18th and Wilson.
Ambulances were dispatched to the crash scene and the scene where the suspect was apprehended.
It i unclear if the suspect was injured.
Piatt-Fox says the suspect is facing several charges and she will release more specific information when it is available.

Might want to verify and correct the location at which the apprehension of this individual occurred. The stated intersection of 18th and Wilson is nonexistent.
Considering the location of the crash and the subsequent foot pursuit, I think it may have been 18th and HUDSON where the arrest was made.

I just hope that the ARREST REPORT is accurate and the arrest won't be thrown out on a technical foul.
