SAPD: Bicyclist Arrested for Stealing Shrimp and Ice Cream From Local Taqueria

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – During an early morning traffic stop on a bicyclist, SAPD officers arrested Luis Llanas who had seven outstanding warrants.

According to SAPD, during a search officers discovered miscellaneous drug paraphernalia, bags of frozen shrimp, several frozen salmon fillets, and a large brown tub of vanilla ice cream labeled “Taqueria Jalisco”. The items were still very cold, so police conducted a follow-up investigation at the restaurant, located at 1313 North Bryant Blvd. They determined a burglary had occurred,

Llanas was charged with Burglary of Building, Possession/Delivery Drug Paraphernalia, Bicycle – Wrong Side of Roadway, and Bicycle – No/Defective Headlights.
