UPDATE: Father Killed Mother Before Kidnapping Two Small Boys

DALLAS, TX – The Dallas Police Department and many other agencies around the state are currently searching for two small children who have been kidnapped. 

According to the Amber Alert, on February 9 at around 8:00 p.m. Jorden Rodgers, 7, and Julien Rodgers, 1, were abducted. 

Authorities believe that they were taken by a Johnnie Ray Palmore. No get away vehicle has been described at this time but Palmore is a 5'11" 155 pound black male with long gold dreadlocks. 

Jorden is described as being 4 feet tall and 60 pounds. He has long dreadlocks. Julien is about 2 feet tall and weighs 25 pounds.

These children are believed to be in grave or immediate danger.

UPDATE 11:40 a.m.: 

The children have been found and are safe in police custody. 

New information has been revealed that Palmore was the children's father.

Dallas Police say the two were kidnapped after Palmore killed their mother. 

When police located Palmore and the children, Palmore shot himself in the head.

He is currently in critical condition.
