Police Seeking Public's Help In Identifying Human Trafficking Suspects

ABILENE, TX – Weeks after math teacher Jim Counts was put on administrative leave for allegedly being involved in a human trafficking case, the Abilene Police Department's Cyber Crimes Unit is asking the public’s help to identify three more men connected to the case.

According to KTXS, when the case originally was brought to the public’s attention, Abilene PD asked the public’s help to identify the 20 suspects who were part of the case. Authorities were investigating a case that detailed the abuse a 30-year-old Chinese woman had endured after she was flown to Abilene where men were paying to have sex with her at an Abilene hotel.

If anyone in the public has any information regarding these three subjects, they are asked to call Sgt. Jason Haak at 325-676-6631. Callers can leave a message with the information and are asked to reference the number next to the picture they are calling about.

No arrests have been made in the case.
