41-Year-Old Man Arrested for Child Soliciting Crimes

ABILENE, TX – A 41-year-old man was arrested Thursday after police say they discovered child pornography in his home. 

According to KTXS, on January 24, officers with the Abilene Police Department's Cyber Crimes Unit assisted in serving a search warrant on the 6800 block of HWY 377 in Blanket. 

The warrant was served after the officer were given clues that led them to David Turner, 41, who was allegedly in possession of child pornography. 

After searching the home, officers seized multiple electronics that will undergo forensic exams. 

Turner is charged with promotion of child pornography, possession or promotion of lewd visual material depicting a child, and indecency with a child. His bond is set at $60,000. 

The Brown County Sheriff's Office, Brownwood Police Department, and the Texas Department of Public Safety assisted the Abilene Police Department with the search and arrest.
