19-Year-Old Arrested for Performing Lewd Acts with a Minor at a Local Park

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The San Angelo Police Department arrested a 19-year-old today after they learned he had sexually assaulted a minor. 

According to the affidavit signed by Justice of the Peace Eddie Howard, on October 9, officers with the San Angelo Police Department responded to a sexual assault of a child.

When they arrived, they met with the juvenile victim's mother who told them of the assault. A forensic interview was performed and during the victim stated that on October 6, Luis Delgado Jr., 19, and her had sex at a local park. 

Five days later, the officers met with Delgado who admitted to the allegations. 

He is charged with sexual assault of a child and is currently in the Tom Green County Jail in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
