WINKLER COUNTY, TX — A 38-year-old man believed to be an oil-field worker was found dead in his vehicle at a drill site off Little Joe Road, the Winkler County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies responded to the scene and began investigating the death. The exact circumstances remain unknown, authorities said. Investigators do not believe foul play was involved.
An autopsy has been ordered. Notification of next of kin is pending, and the man’s name has not been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
