SAN ANGELO, TX -- A third man has been arrested now for sexual assault of a child in the past two days.
According to the affidavit signed by Justice of the Peace Susan Werner, on September 26, officers with the San Angelo Police Department were dispatched to the 400 block of W 1 st street for the report of a fight.
When officers arrived they met with the two people who were arguing. After investigating, police determined that a child and Paul Roberts, 20, were in a sexual relationship.
Roberts was then detained and placed in the back of the cop car where he was mirandized. The affidavit states that Roberts told officers that he and the child met in 2018 and began dating in 2019. He said earlier that morning he had sex with the child at Civic League Park.
Roberts was taken to the Tom Green County Jail and the child was taken to the Hope House where a forensic interview confirmed the two had sex multiple times.
Roberts is charged with sexual assault of a child. He is currently in the TGCJ and his bond is set at $25,000. If he is released he must have no contact with the victim.

Parents of these young girls are just going to have to start keeping a third eye open on their young daughters...... Three young boys now in jail in the past 2 days because of them...... This is going to take a drastic toll on who is going to be cooking our burgers in the fast food restaurants in the near future if this doesn't stop..........

PermalinkThose young MEN are in jail because of their own choices. If they were boys, it would be a juvenile case and we wouldn't have their names or photos.
