SAN ANGELO, TX -- An 18-year-old was arrested this morning after a child came forward and told sheriff deputies that she had been sexually assaulted.
According to the affidavit signed by Justice of the Peace Susan Werner, on September 26, the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office arrested Korbin Cheatham, 18, for sexual assault of a child.
The arrest came after the Victim and the Victim's mother met with Deputies and told them what had happened the night before.
The affidavit states that on September 25, Cheatham and the child texted each other about meeting up at the child's house. Cheatham arrived at the house and the child met him outside.
The two went into the child's bedroom and got undressed. This is when Cheatham allegedly touched the child and then the two exchanged in oral sex.
Deputies say that Cheatham admitted to everything he was accused of and was placed in the Tom Green County Jail.
He is currently still in jail with a bond set at $25,000. Once released he can not have any contact with the victim.
