Man With A Gun Arrested near Downtown San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angelo Police officers Wednesday arrested a suspect allegedly armed with a long gun near the Visitor's Center in downtown San Angelo. 

According to scanner reports, police were dispatched to the area of S. David near the Concho river for the report of a suspect carrying a long gun. 

Police reportedly contacted the suspect near the Visitor's center. 

Reporters say the suspect was arrested but had hidden the weapon near the river. 

Police searched for the weapon but hadn't found it yet.
