ABILENE, TX-- Three people have been indicted by a Taylor County grand jury after kidnapping a man and women for selling them fake drugs, according to KTXS.
Nathan Lowery, 24, Joshua Kevin Davis, 29, and Janna Michelle Calloway, 32 all were indicted on one count of aggravated kidnapping each after Heather Wells and Antonio Perez sold the three $100 worth of bad drugs.
Wells and Perez were staying in the Emerald Inn on August 28. Wells went to go get ice from the machine when Davis and Calloway busted into the door asking "where the $100 was."
They then proceeded to make Wells strip naked and took all of her personal items from her. They then put Wells in a car and transported her to an abandoned house.
When they arrived at the house Perez was already in the house "bound up and restrained with chains and his hands behind his back."
Lowery then started to bound Wells in chains "on her feet/ankles and put tape around her wrists," and made a derogatory comments about Wells dating a black man and that he should "f--- her with this knife."
They decided after that they needed to take Wells to a different house on the north side of Abilene. After they had left, Perez freed himself and was found walking down the street with a chain around his waist.
Perez knew what house Wells was in and informed the police.
Wells was arrested that day on a motion to revoke warrant for possession of dangerous drug. She is currently serving time in a state prison. Perez is currently in the Taylor County Jail on unrelated charges.
