TULSA, Okla. — A 27-year-old man police described as a thong-wearing, sort-of-masked “serial defecator” was arrested Thursday and booked into the Tulsa County Jail on an indecent exposure charge, authorities reported.
Henry Dudley III was identified by Tulsa Police Department Special Victims Unit detectives as the suspect in repeated incidents near 81st Street and Harvard Avenue. Detectives served a search warrant about 11:45 a.m. Thursday at his apartment near 81st Street and Yale Avenue. He was not home. Officers located and arrested him about an hour later, police said.
Police said the investigation remains open and additional charges are possible. An arrest is not a conviction.
According to a probable cause affidavit obtained by Newson6.com, Dudley approached a business about 4:22 a.m. Aug. 19 wearing pink Crocs, thong underwear, a surgical mask with a hole cut in it and a shower cap. He stood in front of a security camera, exposed himself, touched himself and held a phone toward the camera displaying pornographic images, the affidavit stated. The business owner received a camera alert and called police.
The owner told investigators she had dealt with Dudley for months and that his behavior had been escalating. She said he had also spread feces around the business and would hide when she called police, according to the affidavit.
Police earlier said a man wearing a thong, a cut-open mask and a shower cap had been defecating into a dog waste bag and smearing feces on walls and doors of businesses in the shopping center. Video showed him exposing himself to the camera before repeating the act. Officers had responded multiple times before identifying Dudley.
