SAN ANGELO, TX -- The San Angelo campus of the West Texas Rehabilitation Center is unaffected by the firing of two former employees at the Abilene location for trading favors for sex.
WTRC Human Resources spokesperson Jessie Bailey today said the San Angelo campus wasn’t affected at all. “As soon as we learned about the allegations the two men were fired. We are reviewing our internal policies and retraining our staff so that nothing like this ever happens again.”
As we reported earlier, 28-year-old Shawn William Franklin and 29-year-old Walter Allen Williams Jr. were arrested for tampering with evidence. They were arrested August 4 and released the same day on $20,000 bond each.
KTXS is reporting that Abilene Child Protective Services has suspended its relationship with WTRC Abilene.
