Two San Angeloans Nabbed for Heroin and Meth

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - Yesterday, detectives with the San Angelo Police Department’s Street Crimes Division executed a search and arrest warrant at a residence in the 700 block of Spaulding Street, said a press release.

According to the release, the warrant, issued by Justice of the Peace Judge Susan Werner, named Mariah Marquez, 22, of San Angelo, to be in possession of heroin. 

"Marquez was located and arrested for her warrant during a traffic stop at E. Harris and Emerson Street," said SAPD. "Another subject, James Kelley, 29, of San Angelo, was arrested for outstanding warrants during the traffic stop." 

While searching the residence on Spaulding, investigators located a quantity of heroin, methamphetamine, and "a copious amount of items consistent with the manufacture and delivery of narcotics." 

SAPD noted, "At the conclusion of the operation, Marquez was booked into the Tom Green County Jail for Second Degree Felony Manufacture Delivery of Controlled Substance PG1 and State Jail Felony Possession of Controlled Substance PG1."  

SAPD K-9 Team Flores and Duke, Patrol, and the Department’s Tactical Medical Team assisted with the operation.
