Authorities Ask for Tips After Wire Stolen From Howard County Oil Field

 

HOWARD COUNTY, TX – The Howard County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects accused of stealing wire from an oil field location on Wednesday, Aug. 13.

Deputies said the theft happened around 8 p.m. Surveillance images captured two men at the site, along with two pickup trucks believed to belong to the suspects.

Authorities released the photos on Tuesday through Big Spring Howard County Crime Stoppers, urging anyone who recognizes the individuals or vehicles to send in a tip.

The Sheriff’s Office said information leading to an arrest could result in a reward. Tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers at (432) 263-8477, through the “P3 Tips” mobile app, or online at www.p3tips.com/1277. Callers should reference case number 25-0820.
