SAN ANGELO, TX - Over the weekend, local law enforcement arrested and booked 30 people into the Tom Green County Jail. Once more, drugs and alcohol topped the list of crimes.
Out of the 30 people arrested, 13 people had outstanding warrants; 12 people were arrested for new crimes; and five people went to jail for both new crimes and outstanding warrants. Local law enforcement arrested eight of these people for possession of marijuana, four people for possession of controlled substances, two for possession of dangerous drugs, and two more people for possession of drug paraphernalia. Additionally, two arrestees went to jail for public intoxication, three people for DWI, and one for DUI.
In addition to drugs and alcohol, here are the other crimes to make the new complaint list:
