SAN ANGELO, TX - Just before 7:30 a.m. yesterday, San Angelo Police were dispatched to the Motel 6 located at 1311 N. Bryant for the report of found narcotics.
According to the San Angelo Police Department press release, officers responded and learned that a motel employee located contraband inside a room while conducting an inspection after the room’s fire alarm went off. The room’s occupants were not inside the room at the time.
When the room’s occupants returned, so did officers. At the conclusion of the investigation, police arrested 22-year-old Caesar Ramiro Cadena for Possession of controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 and 19-year-old Miguel Serrano for Possession of controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 and possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 3 less than 28G.
Investigators with the Street Crimes Division recovered Methamphetamine and Xanax during the field investigation. Cadena and Serrano were transported to the Tom Green County Jail without incident.
Around 2:45 this morning, San Angelo Police were conducting auto-burglary prevention patrol in the parking lot of the Best Value Inn located at 1600 S. Bryant when they detained two subjects in a vehicle. One subject was identified as 24-year-old Leila Nicole Schulze, who had an outstanding warrant for Possession of Controlled Substance.
According to the press release, Officers searched Schulze and located a small amount of suspected narcotics that field-tested positive for methamphetamine. Schulze was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 and transported to the Tom Green County Jail without incident. The second subject, a 36-year-old San Angelo woman, was released.
