SAN ANGELO, TX - Currently, the San Angelo Police are investigating a double homicide in the 1000 block of Rio Grande that LIVE! reported on last night.
According to police, the two victims are Hispanic males.
No other information is available, but we will continue to provide updates once received.

Two victims of gunshot wounds are confirmed according to San Angelo Police Department spokeswoman Officer Tracy Gonzalez.
“Right now, all hands are on deck for CID [Criminal Investigations Division],” Gonzalez said. That includes the newly-formed Street Crimes Division, patrol officers, and CID, she said.
Gonzalez said the names of the victims are being withheld, though both were males. One was in his 20s and the other possibly in his 30s, she said.
Police have built a wide cordon around the 1000 block of Rio Grande while CID gathers and records evidence.
Police rushed to the 1000 block of Rio Grande at 10:30 p.m. Monday evening to investigate reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, two victims of gunshot wounds were found. Gonzalez said both victims were rushed to Shannon. She did not know the condition of the victims.

As the news came in Monday night:
At around 10:30 p.m., San Angelo Police responded to a shooting in the 1000 block of Rio Grande and North Park.
At this time, there are possibly two victims. Currently, we have unconfirmed reports of a victim with a shot to the head, and one with a shot to the chest.
Emergency responders are currently establishing a crime scene with tape, and an extra ambulance has been called to the scene. CPR is currently being administered.
This is a breaking story, and once more details are received, we will provide an update.

San Angelo LIVE! reporters are on the scene, and thus far, they report that there are 12 police units and one ambulance on scene. A few moments ago, the ambulance left the scene with lights and sirens blaring.
An officer on site told our reporters that the victims taken to the hospital have life-threatening injuries.

Currently, SAPD officials have taped off Rio Grande to Park and to Washington, stop sign to stop sign. The perimeter is set up so SAPD's Criminal Investigations Division can survey the scene. Please try to avoid the area as the investigation continues, and be aware that the suspect (s) is/are still at large.
